I couldn't resist these red berries on the way to work yesterday morning, they were somehow glowing out of the grey (or something like that!)

New look

Tuesday, 24 November 2009

I thought it was about time to update the layout of my blog. I have changed the header. DO you like? and I have taken off all of the photos of the week, which from now on will be included in the main section of the email. Most of the old photos of the week can be found on my flickr:

and here is a montage of the best ones:

I will be posting some of my absolute favourites in a separate future post. Let me know what you think of the new format?

black and white cambridge

Monday, 23 November 2009

I had an excellent job the other day, I was commissioned to shoot black and white architectural photographs of Cambridge of different periods with no cheesy 'Cambridge' shots! No Kings College aloud! This was for the new Chard Robinson offices. They wanted loads of photos to decorate all the walls of their spangly new office, which is a gorgeous old victorian house right on Hills Road in Cambridge. I can't wait to see the photos on the walls.

That malteser wrapper must of been here for ages and ages!

The light was shining through the blinds at work today onto the wall, it looks lovely but I stupidly have to have the blinds shut because otherwise i can't see my computer screen. So even if it is a sunny day, I don't know about it until I see this light splash on the wall.

doorknobs

I've got a collection of doorknobs. I know don't ask.
