So it is that time again, I have to submit my photo to What is England. This time the theme is 'group' and I have been out and about taking groups of people in Cambridge. Now I just have to choose which one - this is the shortlist (any ideas on which photo to use are always always welcome!!):

Jean-Pierre

This could be one of my favourite photos ever. This is Jean-Pierre he owns the butchers shop in Le Villaret de Piesey and he let me take his portrait. It has definitely inspired me to take more strangers portraits out and about he was so nice, he seemed surprised and almost pleased that I would want to take his picture.

Pub anyone?

Pubs are good, especially when the light spilling in is so gorgeous. Happy weekend!

Some fun I had at the weekend

I know its Thursday but I have not been able to get on the internet until now so here we go, I thought I'd take you along to London for the day. Which included running through the fountains at Somerset House sitting in pubs and walking along the Thames.

Peisey and dreaming of snowboarding part 2

I have got a bad case of the post holiday blues, but look how petty it was - how could I not have!

This is my friend Chris, at the time of taking this photo, I had no idea that he was on the piste below me and none at all that this was him waving. It was only afterwards when I heard him shouting my name that I saw it was him! I am so pleased that this came out because it was so so lucky that he happened to be skiing right under me at the exact moment I had my camera out!
