Meet Karen

Monday, 24 May 2010

This is the lovely Karen Valelli, secretary by day and superstar songwriter/performer by night. She asked me take some photos for her album artwork in these beautiful gardens. These were my favourite from the day. Check out how straight that path is in the top one, I think they must of used a ruler or something!

I also shot my first wedding ever this weekend, it was beautiful and went really well. There will be a sneak preview on here as soon as I have edited them all. Very exciting!

Spring Image, tribute to the blue hour

A while ago I was reading Brian Ferry's blog called the blue hour (he is a talent) and he said that he found his 'spring' image. the image that represents spring to him and when he looks back and remembers this spring, this image will come o mind. Well I didn't have a 'spring' image until I got this roll of film back and this lovely little image was on it. This is definitely my Spring shot.

ps. I promise no more blossom shots

I'm a bit of a pessimist

Blossom - can't help it!

Thursday, 6 May 2010

I like blossom. Its pretty and it makes the world seem bright and cheery, especially after a grey dreary dull winter, I also like taking photos of it but I think that blossom pictures look a bit cheesy cheesy. I have a bit of a problem with cheesy cheesy photos but at the same time photos of blossom make me go ooooo, how pretty. Its a balancing act trying to compete with half of my brain going ooooooooo pretty pretty pretty!!! and the other half going don't take photos of that its the same as all the other million blossom photos all over the internet!! So here are some of my blossom picture, I am not listening to half my brain at the moment!

Also don't you think that blossom looks as pretty on the floor when it has fallen off the trees as it does on the trees? like natural confetti everywhere.
