We ate a lot!

En Français Quatre

Monday, 20 September 2010

Whilst we were in France we went canoeing - all very lovely and then me and my friend Laura managed to go down the barrage (tiny rapid thingy) sideways, get stuck and then get tipped out! So so so funny, I wish I had seen it! Another friend, managed to get it on camera though as you can see from above and the resulting bruised knees too! So much fun. I have still got a few France photos to upload as well as some weddings that I have been busy doing and then Italy pictures, I'm so behind with this blogging stuff - eh well!

Weekends!

Friday, 17 September 2010

Have a good one if you get a chance, pitch a tent and then get inside a sleeping bag and pretend to be a caterpillar - trust me!

Very very very late 114 miles weeks 53 - 56 (!)

Just dragging my self up to date with 114 miles (guess which ones are mine and which are Ians, not that hard really!) - no idea why I didn't post them all before! Guess I've been enjoying the last of the summer which seems to be pretty much over now though, the official sign is that I was shopping for a new pair of winter boots yesterday, I have my eye on a pair although I think that they may make my thighs look fat, is it even possible for a pair of shoes to do that?!

Lake Ledro Polaroids

Tuesday, 14 September 2010

The last couple of days of our trip we stayed away from the giant Lake Garda and moved onto the much smaller Lake Ledro - both were totally beautiful. These are a couple of Polaroids of the view from our tent (which was right on the shore, stunning!). Also does anyone know why the highlights appear as black spots instead as white with fuji film, is it just a strange quirk?

New Exhibition

Monday, 13 September 2010

Hello, I know I have been a bit absent (again, its been a busy but excellent summer) over here on my blog but I think that everything will be returning back to a bit more like normality now, we have just returned from a very lovely Lake Garda in Italy so photos for that will follow and I still want to share some France photos and a few other bits too. So maybe one day this little space of mine will be all up to date!

I also am involved with a lovely little exhibition at the moment at the Mill House cafe in Windsor. The show is curated by the Two Magpies girls and the title of the exhibition is home (couldn't be more up my street!) The photos of the exhibition are not mine as I havn't been to see it yet they are courtesy of the Two Magpies blog. I really like the drawing of Tower Bridge by Leila Bibizadeh (below). Head on over there to see the rest of the photos of the exhibition and everyone else who is in the exhibition, or if you are in Windsor pop into the cafe and have a look at them for real!

What is England - Play

Wednesday, 1 September 2010

This is my photo for the title of 'Play' for the What is England Project. There are some good shots up there (as usual). I like this little boys face by Stuart Rayner and David Ryle's shot of a fun fair, this beautiful one by Oli Kellet the sweet old man on the keyboards by Paul Russell (love love love this one) and of course Mike Osborne shot of the beach.

That is not an exclusive list but it is a start!
