Sweaty greenhouses

Thursday, 21 April 2011

I love how the plants look though the glass of these amazing greenhouses, hot, humid and sweaty! Its kind of like a 'steamy nature' version of this and also these.

Also Happy Easter!

The Alps 3

Tuesday, 19 April 2011

I think this'll probably be the last photos of snowy goodness for a while but I can't resist the mountains for long so I'm sure they'll be back! Thanks for all the lovely comments and emails about the snowy photos.

I'm not sure if you can really see it but, right in the middle of the village in the bottom photo is a little place called Chalet Chardons and I was lucky enough to have lived there for a whole season a few years ago, so much fun I can't even begin to tell you. Also photo number 5 is where I attempted my first jumps ever (it still counts even if they were tiny green kickers) on my snowboard - AND I even managed to land most of them!! I always thought I wasn't a jumper but I was so wrong.

The Alps

Wednesday, 13 April 2011

Its taken a while but I have finally got a chance to properly sort out the photos from The Alps. So in celebration of everything spring like (!) I bring you photos of some snow! I have a bunch of these and will try not to bore you with them all but mountains are my favourite things so you might have to bare with me.

114 miles and Art Exhibition

Thursday, 7 April 2011

These are all the latest images for mine and Ian's little project. We are on Week 83 now! the images above are from weeks 78 - 83, it seems I havn't been up to date with uploading them! To see who's is whose then you'll have to go to our website:

I also just wanted to tell you that I am exhibiting some of my images from 2 separate projects (fringes and still here) this Saturday at an Art Fair in my home town, Royston. If you are in the area then pop along and have a look. It starts at 10 o'clock and is in the town hall (Google map link - its at point B)

New little camera

Monday, 4 April 2011

It was time for a new camera, I couldn't resist anymore. I have had my eye on this one for a while now and finally justified it in my head to buy it. Need a bit more practice at the exposure settings but other than that - I am in love!

Was really pleased to see that I have been featured on the Unless You Will facebook page last week. I really like the photography that this magazine features so I am leased to be amongst some other really great photographers. You can see the feature here and while you are here why don't you have a look at my facebook page and if you like it 'like' it!

Japanese kitten

Friday, 1 April 2011

I found this in an old photo frame of a picture of my mum and dad that was stashed away in their garage (i was trying to dig out the picture to make a scan for my wall). I thought it deserved showing to the world rather than being used as padding in a photo frame!

This is the picture I was trying to find - look how cute!:

ps. I have no idea what the text on the right of the kitten picture says - hope its good!!
