Last night we visited my parents for Sunday dinner (yum yum yum!) and whilst trying to find another date that we could all get together again before Christmas. We realised that it is so close! 6 weeks in fact. I know that that often freaks people out so sorry about that - didn't mean to do that to you on a Monday morning!

I am planning on placing an advert for my wedding photography business on some blogs and also in a local listings magazine. I have come up with some possible ideas but I can't decide if any of them are any good or which one is the best so I am asking you guys! Please let me know what you think. For the blog ones there doesn't have to be any website info as they are click through links but the local listing magazine is printed so there needs to be my web address and contact info. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

The ads are quite small so they need to be eye catching but not too cluttered.

My shop is now properly live and up and running!

Very exciting news, I have been working away in the background sorting it all the bits out for my new shop on Etsy and went live on Friday! Please go and take a look and let me know what you think. I hope you like it.

Ribbon Squirrel

If you are wondering about the name of my shop (my Mum was!) then it is a bit of a nick name my boyfriend gave me because I have a tendency to collect pretty things like ribbon and then put them 'in safe places' then completely forget all about them. John than comes along and opens a draws to find a perfectly rolled up little bundle of ribbon - hence ribbon squirrel!

I am also taking part in the Poppytalk handmade market which went live this morning and there looks like there are loads of goodies on there. I'm going to round up my favourite pieces and write about them another time but in the meantime head on over there to have a look at all the handmade lovelyness.

Thanks 6 Music!!!!

This image of my friend tom was used for this weeks MPFREE album artwork on BBC6 music today. So exciting! thye said my name on the radio again and everything! The theme was party people so I thought dancing ballerinas and Tom dressed as Bananaman was pretty party-ish!
