Drinking warm cider in paper cups

If it was on this year, then it would be the first night of Glastonbury tonight (as I mentioned here) so I thought that it only seemed appropriate* to show some of the photos from the past few years that I havn't shown on here before.  It always amazes me the amount of photos that I take and also the ones that I overlook.  I can't believe that I didn't notice that flags photo at the top before and I remember writing off that whole film with that image on because it was a bit over exposed but looking at it again - I really like it.

*Thinking about appropriate-ness, did you see the program about taste and class with Graysom Perry?  Just watch it, it was amazing!  If you watch it you will get the appropriate reference 

Mid Summer?

Longest day of the year today - I'm not going to bang on about the weather as it gets a bit boring, but I do feel like it hasn't put in much of an effort yet this year so I don't think that it deserves to slack off now and start going dark again - you owe us some more daylight and sun!

ps.  Can you spot the tiny airplanes in the top photo?  Also prizes* for getting the city right.

Behind The Scenes

I think that sometimes the 'behind the scenes' photos are the best bits as it gives you a sneaky look into someone else's world.  Also as I still can't show you guys what I was photographing at a recording studio, I thought a little of the interior architecture would do?!

It is the longest day of the year tomorrow - come on weather its called midsummers day for a reason - get your summer on!  In other news, this time last year I was on my way to Glastonbury, its a shame it not on this year but I may dig out some old negatives to look at, stick the radio in the garden, not wash for 6 days and drink cider out of plastic cups to make up for it.

Rocked Out Modern Mood Board

It was about time and it needed to be done, I am a photographer not a graphic designer so when the time came to update my look it was decided that I needed to enlist the help of a pro.  Enter the very talented Bre and my very own branding mood board (look at the colours!) It was curated from loads and loads of inspiration that I had pinned and gathered on Pinterest.  I'm so excited to share this.  Thanks Bre, it looks fab so far and can't wait to see what you come up with.

I am also very fond of the way she described it - rocked out modern are her words but is exactly the look I was going for.
