Jump

I just found this photo whilst looking around in my archives and felt like it needed to be shared. I love that feeling of jumping into the water. The slight fear before you jump off then the anticipation as you are in the air and then, if your like me the undignified spluttering once you've hit the water and its gone up your nose! Still, I always go back for more.

Isla and Chris Part I

I am really excited to be able to share these photos with you. They were from a wedding I did at the beginning of September. As you can see it was a gorgeously sunny day (which if you are in the UK yo will know that that was a very lucky thing!). I don't think Isla and Chris stopped grinning and making gooey eyes at each other all day, it was completely beautiful to watch. The day was also full of hugs, laughter and genuine massive smiles from all the family and guests too. I was even lucky enough to get quite a few hugs as well which is always a good thing - who doesn't love a hug!

The big day was held at Magdalene College in Cambridge which is right on the river Cam with a stunning garden and dinner was served in the hall (think Harry Potter and you're not too far off!). Here is the first batch, there are many many more to come. I hope you like them and a huge cngratulations and thankyou to Isla and Chris, you two are very very good eggs!

Self portraits and old phones

I've been taking photos for the 'about me' and 'contact' section of my website. Self portraits are hard! There were quite a few photos where I just looked so horribly smug! For someone who spends there working life taking photos, I really don't know how to pose myself!

Oh well at least that phone is amazing isn't it?! It was my Nanas, she is moving house and my Mum uncovered this little beauty.

Wales

Johny went cycling in Wales the other weekend so I tagged along and took a few snaps while he was biking and then afterwards we stayed in this little camping pod which was kind of like what I imagine a hobbit house to be like crossed with a fancy shed - highly recommended! That evening we crashed a lovely local girls 30th birthday party in the nearby pub and danced to 80s disco songs all night long! I heart Wales a lot.

Edit: I have been asked where the camping was, It was in a little place called Cwmcarn, near Newport, south Wales. I should of posted a link before but here is the link to the campsite now:

(you can also pitch your own tent) there is a great visitors centre too with an excellent café that did a mean fry up and the cakes looked tasty - maybe next time!
