Flat light for snowboarding = badFlat light for photographs in the mountains = good
We only had one day of weather like this, the rest was beautiful blue skis and sunshine so excellent for snowboarding but I love the otherworldly/dreamlike look that flat light gives to photos. I would take sunshine any day though!

My daughter was two weeks ago in a ski camp and had come to ski. She liked it well. :)
