Gypsy caravans in the countryside

Thursday, 18 April 2013

I have been editing all morning and most of the afternoon so I thought I'd have a little break to wonder the internet (I was going to go for a bike ride but had forgotten that my boyfriend had stolen the saddle off of my bike for one of his - long story but basically I didn't fancy riding it saddleless, thought that could end in possible disaster!)  I am completely rambling now, basically what I mean to say is during my internet wanderings, I realised that I hadn't blogged in a while and as I am in the middle of editing their wedding, I thought that it would be fitting to show you this gorgeous couple.  Just take a look at those those gorgeous faces.  Lucy and Rob were such good fun, they hardly stopped giggling once!

ps.  You're wedding pics are looking fab too x

All Photos were taken at the very lovely South Farm, love that venue.

Birds

Tuesday, 26 February 2013

I just got myself a new little Lensbaby.  So went out for a walk to take some practice snaps, and this flock of doves burst into view overhead.  They danced around in the air for just about long enough for me to struggle to get the camera out of its bag, panic that I would miss the shot, almost run right out into the road in excitement and then luckily catch these shots.  Can't wait to bust out this lens at a wedding, it will be perfect and I will be way more prepared!!

Royal Institute Christmas Lecture Behind The Scenes

Thursday, 21 February 2013

Back in December I was lucky enough to be able to go behind the scenes to take photos of Peter Wothers who was rehearsing the Christmas Lecture at the Royal Institute of Great Britain in London town.  I thought it was pretty cool, I love behind the scenes action and this is what I saw:

Last Paris selection I think.  Enjoy the beautiful city, that is all there is to say really.

November

These are some of the things I saw in November. I dug out my little fuji instax after seeing these photos by Rhianne. They were so beautiful it inspired me to use mine again, I do love that camera!

Looking into windows part 3

Thursday, 1 December 2011

Been looking into windows again! I really love the reflections on the glass, it sort of makes the insides and outsides merge in almost a double exposure loveliness! This window love has been going for a while, you can see more here and here.

I have also been looking out of windows too:

Outside in

Tuesday, 17 May 2011

I've had these images in a folder on my hard drive called 'spring at the botanics' for so lond now that its not even Spring anymore. Better late than ever, I won't bore you with all the blossom pics though, it probably is a bit late for those!

Also have you seen this beautiful selection of jewlery from the Vamoose? I just got home to find the postman had been and left one of her beautiful bracelets.

Unusual connections - its just how my brain works!

Tuesday, 1 March 2011

I was watching this little short film (which is so beautiful and calming) and it reminded me of some of these images I took a while ago at a Ginger gig. I meant to share them on here before but other stuff happened and I forgot! You might not be able to see the similarities - one is in a dirty club and the other a beautiful aquarium but its the silhouetted people and the LCD camera screens that I was drawn to and what I made the connection between. See for yourself, am I mad?!

I've recently bought a new camera with HD video so I am planning on making some amazing and probably oscar worthy(!) short films soon. Well, as soon as I can work out how to get the films from my camera to computer and then into a usable format - might be a while them!

ps. I don't know who the boy is in the 2nd photo but he's very pretty!
