New Notebook

Friday, 30 March 2012

Ooooo exciting no?!   Pretty spring flowers and pastel colours.  Available in my shop.  I also thought I'd show you a few examples of the different coloured pages that you could get.

I have also just posted off a selection to a very cool gallery/shop in Hackney:  KK outlet so if you are in the London area you'll be able to pick up one of these from there soon.  I think I have told you before that you can get them form the lovely Shipshape studios in Harrow and Cariad Gifts in Wales.  I am working on a few more stockists so watch this space.

Some sad news (not that drastic in the grand scheme of things don't worry) my hard drive died a few weeks ago and turns out that it is totally unrecoverable.  Very very very very sad.  I had backed up all of the important work stuff but there were a couple of folders of personal photos that I hadn't even had a chance to look through that have gone forever.  Taught me a valuable lesson though - ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS back up!  Even if it is not "work" stuff - you'll be sad if it goes.

I had loads of fun making these little notebooks.

Some new posters in my shop

Friday, 20 January 2012

I have just listed 2 new posters in my shop.  they are from my Italian Collection (cards to come very soon). I also thought it was a good idea to take some photos so you can see the size of them as they really are massive!  Look - they really are!!

These are already in my shop but here are my new product shots (I was having a bad hair day since the hiding behind!!)

My shop is now properly live and up and running!

Monday, 7 November 2011

Very exciting news, I have been working away in the background sorting it all the bits out for my new shop on Etsy and went live on Friday! Please go and take a look and let me know what you think. I hope you like it.

If you are wondering about the name of my shop (my Mum was!) then it is a bit of a nick name my boyfriend gave me because I have a tendency to collect pretty things like ribbon and then put them 'in safe places' then completely forget all about them. John than comes along and opens a draws to find a perfectly rolled up little bundle of ribbon - hence ribbon squirrel!

I am also taking part in the Poppytalk handmade market which went live this morning and there looks like there are loads of goodies on there. I'm going to round up my favourite pieces and write about them another time but in the meantime head on over there to have a look at all the handmade lovelyness.

Christmas shopping starts here! (isn't this months poppytalk banner lovely)
