Pretty Light

I've found these patches of light popping up in my house recently

The light was shining through the blinds at work today onto the wall, it looks lovely but I stupidly have to have the blinds shut because otherwise i can't see my computer screen. So even if it is a sunny day, I don't know about it until I see this light splash on the wall.

I just love shadows and light, especially dappled through trees like this.  I was told once that the tiny circles of light are called circles of confusion, what a brilliant name.  They are just lots of tiny moving pin holes and are so so beautiful

new obsession

I have had this for a while now, just never told anyone - I am fascinated by lamps and the way that they cast their light onto walls, particularly in the morning when the colours are really subtle.  I keep finding myself in different places and itching to take photos of the lamps!  Well, there will be many more pictures of lamps to come as I can't see this going away anytime soon but for now you can see the start of this obsession in the column to the right and above.
