Fortunate mistakes
Friday, 22 March 2013
I love it when you find good stuff when you are forced to tidy (my boyfriend is very neat, I am not!) These polaroid were stuffed down the back of a chest of draws. Don't they look pretty together? Both are I suppose 'technically' rubbish and no good but I love these beautiful mistakes, they are perfect just as they are. Which just confirms my belief that not everything has to be perfect and polished. The wrong bits can also be right. Woohoo for messy hair, scuffed shoes and broken polaroids
ps. Happy weekend x

The Alps 3
Tuesday, 19 April 2011

I'm not sure if you can really see it but, right in the middle of the village in the bottom photo is a little place called Chalet Chardons and I was lucky enough to have lived there for a whole season a few years ago, so much fun I can't even begin to tell you. Also photo number 5 is where I attempted my first jumps ever (it still counts even if they were tiny green kickers) on my snowboard - AND I even managed to land most of them!! I always thought I wasn't a jumper but I was so wrong.

Peisey and dreaming of snowboarding part 1
Wednesday, 31 March 2010

I was kind of hoping that spring would of sprung by the time I got home from skiing but it doesn't seem to have done - oh well never mind, I don't feel so bad about uploading beautiful wintery France polaroid photos now! There are plenty more of these as well. I won't bore you with them all but I have some films to pick up at lunch - can't wait!!
another one!

I found another cute polaroid, this was taken about a year and a half ago when John took me to the zoo for my birthday, a little marmosette climbed on my head that day!
ps (the colours are more vivid on my computer - it looks more like it should over on flickr, no idea why!)
simple is best

Sometimes the most simple things are the most beautiful. I am in the middle of sorting out my shop on Dawanda (www.carolinehancox.dawanda.com) and found this polaroid I took a few months ago, thought I'd share it with you.
nice surprise

Wednesday, 8 October 2008
Woohoo! One of my photos has been selected to appear in the latest edition of mankind mag (which is a magazine by the lady who writes the blog design for mankind). I have known about it for a while but I didnt want to write about in case it didn't happen. Well it did, yay! Click here for a link to the magazine.
